While the download is taking place the Standby Firmware Status line displays Download-
ing. That is followed by a period of approximately 40 seconds while it displays Calculating
Checksum. 

The Application Broadcast download can only be performed on master units, 
which occupy the same shelf as the SCM. To download a remote unit you must 
use the Single Unit download and specify the appropriate Slot/Line/Drop 
address.
