Introduction

The circuit- breaker uses pressurized SF

gas as electric arc quenching gas.

The SF

gas pressure monitoring is essential to assure the circuit- breaker

performances.

Principle

There is two SF

gas pressure monitoring types :

Permanent monitoring with the help of a threshold densimeter.

Periodic monitoring with the help of a dial densimeter (visual control)
