Installation of operating device

Coupling the operating device

Coupling

The table below gives the steps of the operating device coupling :

Step

Action

Sling the operating device using a lifting strap (1) like diagram.

NOTE

: Do not remove the roof (17) of the operating device

before slinging.

Lift the operating device and make this level.

Approximate weight 300 kg.

Approach the operating device in assembly position, the jib of the lift-

ing equipment must be under the stress- shields ring (to avoid that

the cables touch the stress- shields ring).

The final approach must be done with extreme caution.

Introduce the operating mechanism shaft (13) into the cylinder (12)

of the pole operating shaft.

As soon as the lower fastening screw (9) “

” emerge from the hole

of the operating mechanism support (8), install the spacer (26),

washer (10) and the nut (14).

NOTE

: Do not tighten the nut (14).

”
