4.1.3 General Access to Functions
General Prerequisites for all Interfaces
• Having access to the vehicle in a safe environment (
section 2.7.1
).
• Taking precautions to avoid battery drainage (
section 2.7.2
).
• Having connected the tool to the ODBII connector (
section 2.8.2
).
• Know the controls of the selected Interface (
section 2.8.3, section 2.8.4 or section 2.8.5
).
II Steps to access Functions
1- Fulfill the general prerequisites defined above.
2- Lunch the IIDTool by pressing on .
3- Navigate using the and buttons.
4- Select the desired function with the command .
App
Prerequisites :
• Own a IIDTool BT or IIDTool Pro .
• Having access to a compatible mobile device (
section 1.7.5
) with the IIDControl App installed
(
section 2.4.3
) and synchronized with the IIDTool (
section 2.6
).
Steps to access Functions
1- Fulfill the general and App prerequisites defined above.
2- Follow instructions found in
section 2.8.3
to access the menu

3- Select the desired function.
4.2 Function “ Version ”
4.2.1 Definition
This function displays the current firmware version of the IIDTool being used.
4.2.2 Access

1- Perform the initial stages of general access to functions (
section 4.1.3
).
2- Navigate to Read Faults and press to view the version. Do not enter the Read Fault function.
App
The IIDTool BT or IIDTool Pro current version is displayed on the main menu screen (Build
WXYZ).
Note : The IIDTool firmware version is also visible when pairing with the Updater Software (Updater
software installation, section 2.3 and Updating the IIDTool firmware section 2.5 )
