4.6 Function “ Calibration ” of systems and components
4.6.1 Definition
A calibration is used to corroborate a physical quantity associated with a signal or value provided by a
sensor.
Access
1- Perform the initial stages of access (

2- Select “ Calibration ”
3- Navigate through the ECU using commands
4- Select the desired ECU
5- Select the required calibration
4.6.2 Steering Angle Sensor
(L322, L319, L320, L316*)
Steering angle sensor calibration
This routine will calibrate the steering angle sensor centre position.
*See engine for L316 2012.
Preparations
• Place the vehicle on a flat and level surface.
• Ensure that your front wheels and steering wheel are straight before proceeding.
Usages
This function is used when:
• The steering angle sensor is replaced.
• A wheel alignment is performed on the vehicle.
• It may be required if parts of the steering system have been replaced or removed.
Steering angle sensor renew (L322-02, L322-06)
This routine is used when the steering angle sensor is replaced.
4.6.3 Parking Brake (L322-06, L322-10, L319, L320)
Longitudinal Accelerometer Sensor Calibration
This routine is used when the EPB ECU is replaced.
Preparations
• Place the vehicle on a flat and level surface.
• The vehicle should stay stationary for the duration of the routine.
• The EPB ECU must be fastened securely and the parking brake must be applied.
• Make sure the brake pedal is released.
