Each Step Separately:

•
Complete step 1 and start step 2 with the key to the Accessory position (I).
• Remove the key from the ignition when the first re-flash (step 2) has begun.
•
Before starting step 3, turn key to the Accessory position (I).
•
If using a mobile device, connect to the tool and wait 30 seconds.
•
If using a PC, wait 30 seconds also.
•
The Radio will turn ON, shut down and turn ON again, step 3 can now begin.
• Start step 3 and remove key from ignition once re-flashing has begun.
•
Once step 3 is completed, turn key to the ON position (II) and connect the mobile device (if
using an IIDTool

or
Pro
). Follow the instructions on screen.
There is no time constraint between steps 2 and 3 or after step 3 is completed since the key is out of
the ignition preventing a battery drain.

How to proceed with a battery maintainer.
Turn the key to Ignition, position II, and simply select “whole process” or each step separately. The key
can be left in the ON position (II) until the selected step or process is completed.
