Reset to defaults and remake operational settings.

HDD ERROR status

Hard disk has a possible defect. Format / reformat disk. If
STATUS is still HDD ERROR after format / reformat of disk,
contact hard disk supplier. (Cannot record or playback this
disk if HDD ERROR status.)

Hard disk has an event control information error (data
incorrect or disrupted). Clear events to remove error.
(Caution: Clear event operation will erase all material
currently on hard disk.)

EVENT ERROR status

If hard disk was not formatted after initial installation /
connection, format disk to clear EVENT ERROR status (see
sec. ‘6-10-2. Format HDD’) and then assign how disk will be
