Backup record will be performed when timer function is used. (See sec. ‘6-4. Timer
Program’ for procedure to apply timer program.)
9-7-2. Regarding Timer Auto Backup
If timer program has been setup as illustrated, DVD backup is carried out from 8:30 on
Thursday until 19:30 Thursday. Programs (No. 1-5) used at lines 2-8 will only be supported if
BACKUP to TIMER or AUTO are in their setup menu.
Note
Use of timer backup limits how backup can be performed based
on REC MODE set.
PRE-ALARM: All HDD record backed up.
ONE SHOT: All HDD record backed up.
CONTINUOUS: All HDD recorded or alarm backed up only.
In the TIMER PROGRAM example, REC MODE of program No. 1 at line 2 is CONTINUOUS,
so CONTINUOUS BKUP is displayed after line 8. The following two settings can be made
here for any program in the timer list that is to continuous data can be set.
ALL:
All HD record backed up.
ALARM:
Only alarm data backed up.
In the case of the example, TIMER PROGRAM, program No. 1 at line 2 will be backup
recorded after 07:30 - 17:30 record period complete. If BACKUP for program 2 is set to
AUTO in this case, since REC MODE is set to CONTINUOUS, backup record of alarm data
only can be set.
Remember
TIMER PROGRAM use must be set in FUNCTION menu
for TIMER AUTO BACKUP operation to be performed.
