10. If Problems Occur
If any of the following problems occur during operation of your CDR-16Tunit, proceed as indicated
below to see if problem can be corrected before assuming a unit malfunction has occurred.
Problem
Check
CDR-16Ts cannot be controlled while data is loading. Verify
data load is complete. Data load completion time determined
by size and number of drives configured.

Cannot control CDR-16T
Verify KEY PROTECT (button lock function) is set to OFF.
Other settings will lock out front panel button controls.

Verify cameras are connected at rear panel.
Verify cameras are assigned for recording in menus.

Verify hard disk has been properly formatted.

Cannot record
Verify hard disk has been assigned as PB/REC USE in
menus.
See sec. ‘6-10-1. Assign HDD Use’.
Verify hard drive material has been recorded to the area being
played back.
Cannot playback
Verify hard disk has been assigned as PB USE ONLY or
PB/REC USE in menus.

Verify program times have been set in RECORD menu.

Auto record function does
not start
Verify REC PROGRAM has been set to TIMER in FUNCTION
menu.
