9-2. DVD Menu screen
If your CDR-16T has an optional DVD-RAM drive installed, you will need to make sensitivity and
other settings before using the DVD-RAM option. See sec. ‘5-1. Accessing MAIN Menu’ for
information on making menu selections. Note that you will need to perform format/ clear and/ or
make other performance settings before using the DVD option.
Important
This menu can only be accessed if the optional DVD-
RAM drive is installed to the CDR-16T.
The following screen is displayed when
DVD
is chosen in MAIN menu screen. Menu operations
relating to DVD functions are accessed on this screen.
Where

ASSIGN DVD USE
Sets how your DVD- RAM is used and supplies information on capacity, operation and status.
See sec. ‘9-2-1. Assigning DVD Use’.

FORMAT DVD
Accesses a sub menu used to format the DVD-RAM disks before use. See sec.’9-3. Formatting
DVD’.

CLEAR EVENT
Accesses a sub menu used to clear events (erase data) from DVD disk without reformatting.
See sec. ‘9-4. Clearing Events’.

LOOP REC
Sets whether record operations stop when DVD-RAM disk is full (OFF) or return to timeline start
and overwrite DVD-RAM disk contents (ON)

If LOOP REC set to OFF, recording will stop when
the DVD-RAM disk record capacity is reached. Pressing record button again will once more start
record from the beginning of the DVD-RAM disk timeline and currently recorded material on
DVD-RAM disk will be over written.
