2.3 Setting Track Plotting Interval (main track)
Track plotting interval may be set by range or time, and the default setting is range (0.01 nm). A
shorter interval provides better reconstruction of track, but the total storage time of the track is
reduced. One advantage of plotting by range is you won't use the track memory when your ship
is dead in water.
2.3.1 Setting track interval by range
1. Press [MENU], [2], [5] to display the Common Function menu, and select Page 1.

to select Plot Interval.
3. Press
[←]
to select Range.
4. Key in plotting interval and press the [ENT] key. For example, if the plotting interval is one
mile, press [0], [1], [0], [0], [ENT].
5. Press the [MENU] key several times to close the menu.
2.3.2 Setting track plotting interval by time
1. Press [MENU], [2], [5] to display the Common Function menu, and select Page 1.
