7. Press the [MENU] key several times to close the menu.
Note 1: If you wish to create an auto acquisition area having a 360-degree coverage around
own ship, set point B in almost the same direction (approx. ±5
°
) as point A and press the [ENT]
key.
Note 2: To terminate automatic acquisition select Off at step 4 in the above procedure.
12.5 Terminating Tracking of Targets
When the target capacity is reached, no more acquisition occurs unless tracking of targets is
terminated. Should this happen, cancel tracking of individual targets or all targets by the
procedure described below.
12.5.1 Terminating tracking of individual targets
Tracking of individual targets can be terminated directly on the display screen or through the
menu. To terminate tracking from the display screen, use the trackball to place the +cursor on a
target and press the [CANCEL] key. For termination through the menu, do the following:
1. Press [MENU], [9], [5] to display the ARP Acquisition/ Off menu.
2. Press
[↓]
to select Num. Off.
3. Key in the target number of which you want to terminate tracking.
4. Press the [ENT] key.
5. Press the [MENU] key several times to close the menu.
12.5.2 Terminating tracking of all targets
All targets can be canceled by pressing and holding down the [CANCEL] key for several
seconds, or from the ARP menu as follows:
1. Press [MENU], [9], [3], [5] to display the ARP menu and select Page 1.
2. Press
[↑]
or
[↓]
to select the All Symbol Erase field.
3. Press
[→]
to select RUN.
4. Press the [MENU] key several times to close the menu.
