10.1.2 GPS receiver settings

After the unit is installed, enter GPS settings as below:

•

Antenna height above the waterline

•

Estimated position

•

Time difference (to use local time if required)

•

Geodetic chart system used

•

Position offset (if necessary)

1. Press [MENU], [9], [2] to display the GPS Setup menu, and select "GPS Page."

2. Enter settings as appropriate.

3. Press the [ENT] key.

4. Press the [MENU] key several times to close the menu.

Latitude and longitude

At initial power application it takes about 90 seconds to find position. To decrease this time, enter

estimated latitude and longitude. Select "Lat/Long" from the GPS page, enter latitude and

longitude and press the [ENT] key.
