12.4.2 Automatic acquisition
With the automatic acquisition feature on, the GP/GD-280 can automatically acquire five targets,
and the GP/GD-380, GP/GD-680, 10 targets.
For the GP/GD-280, the ARP automatically acquires five targets which come into the acquisition
area. However, if move than five targets have been acquired manually, only the remaining
number out of ten may be acquired automatically. For example, if seven targets have been
acquired manually, only three targets may be automatically acquired. For the GP/GD-380,
GP/GD-680, if more than 10 targets have been acquired manually, only the remaining number of
targets out of twenty may be acquired automatically.
To acquire targets automatically do the following:
1. Press [MENU], [9], [3], [5] to display the ARP menu.
2. Select Page 2.
3. Press
[↑]
or
[↓]
to select the Auto Acquisition field.
4. Press
[→]
to select Set.
5. Place the +cursor at upper (lower) left edge of area (A in figure below) and press the [ENT]
key.
6. Place the +cursor at the lower (upper) right edge of the area (B in figure below) and press the
[ENT] key.
