11. Enter appropriate comment (up to 10 alphanumeric characters).
a) Use the trackball to place the highlight cursor on the character desired.
b) Press the [ENT] key.
c) Repeat a) and b) to complete the comment.
d) Use the trackball to place the highlight cursor on Enter.
e) Press the [ENT] key.
12. Press the [ENT] key. The waypoint menu screen appears and the latitude and longitude of
the waypoint is displayed. To continue entering waypoints by the latitude and longitude
repeat steps 5 through 12.
13. Press the [WPT ENTRY] key to quit.
5.1.4 Entering waypoints at own ship position
1. Press [MENU], [4], [1] to display the Setting menu.

or
[↓]
to select WPT Entry Method.
3. Press
[←]
or
[→]
to select Ship Pos.
4. Press the [WPT ENTRY] key to show the waypoint list.
5. Press
[↑]
or
[↓]
to select empty waypoint number.
6. Press the [ENT] key.
7. Press
[→].
8. Enter comment.
9. Press the [ENT] key.
10. Press the [WPT ENTRY] key to close the waypoint list. The waypoint mark appears at own
ship position.
