Calibrating the Entry/Exit Port
To calibrate the entry/exit port:
1.

1. Set the library’s control mode to Remote (see page 92 ).

2. Click on Maintenance at the top of the page.

3. Click on Calibrate library elements.

4. Click on Calibrate just the entry/exit port slots.

5. Click on the Calibrate EEPort button to begin calibration.

6. When calibration is complete, return the library to its original control mode.
Calibrating a Tape Drive
To calibrate a tape drive:

1. Set the library’s control mode to Remote (see page 92 ).

2. Click on Maintenance at the top of the page.

3. Click on Calibrate library elements.

4. Click on Calibrate a tape drive. A page similar to Figure 6-46 appears.

5. Click on the radio button next to the drive you want to calibrate. (D1 is the
tape drive closest to the fixed slots; D2 is located directly to the right of D1.)
6. 6. 6. 6. Click on the Calibrate Tape Drive button to begin calibration.
