Park robot – Moves the robot to the right side of the library, rotated toward
the back (facing the tape drives). This position allows the packing material
to be placed on the robot for shipping.
Home robot – Moves the robot to its home position.
Scan bar code labels – Causes the robot to scan the bar code labels on the
cartridges in the range of locations you specify.
Move cartridge – Causes the robot to move a cartridge from the source and
destination you specify.
Running the Library Self Test
To run the library’s self test:

1. Set the library’s control mode to Remote (see page 92 ).

2. Click on Maintenance at the top of the page.

3. Click on Run individual library commands.

4. Click on Self test.

5. Click on the Self Test button to begin the test.

6. When the test is finished, return the library to its original control mode.
Positioning the Robot to an Element
To position the robot to an element:
