Viewing Fibre Channel Information
To view Fibre Channel information:

3. Click on Fibre Channel information. A page similar to Figure 6-25 appears.
This page provides the World Wide Name for the library. To view the WWNs
for the tape drive(s), see page 123 .
Table 6-1 SCSI interface mode parameters
Field Description
Storage The element address of the first cartridge storage location. (See page 69 for
information about element addresses.) The Count value indicates the number of
storage elements in the library.
E/E Port The element address of the first entry/exit port slot. The Count value indicates the
number of slots in the entry/exit port.
Drive The element address of the first tape drive. The Count value indicates the number
of tape drives in the library.
Robot The element address of the robot. The Count value indicates the number of robots.
Parity The setting for SCSI parity checking (1=on, 0=off). When the parity option is on,
the library checks all data coming across the SCSI bus for parity.
Parity Retries The number of times the library will retry a SCSI phase after detecting a parity error.
Security Whether the library’s menus are password protected (1=protected, 0=not
protected).
Control Byte A Fibre Channel protocol parameter (applicable to Fibre Channel libraries only).
TO Units A Fibre Channel protocol parameter (applicable to Fibre Channel libraries only).
TO Value A Fibre Channel protocol parameter (applicable to Fibre Channel libraries only).
