Charging Using the AC Adapter

Open the external connector
terminal cover.
You can also charge the battery pack
with the mova open.

Face the writing on the AC
adapter connector in the
same direction as the mova
sub display and insert into
the external connector
terminal.
Make the connecter level with the
mova, then push all the way in until
you hear a click.

Plug the AC adapter into a
100V AC outlet.
The charge start sound is heard and
the Picture light/charge LED lights
red.

When the charge end sound
is heard and the Picture
light/charge LED turns off,
charging is complete.
While pressing the lock buttons on
both sides of the connector, unplug
the connector, and then close the
external connector terminal cover.
When not in use for long periods,
unplug the AC adapter from the outlet.
Note You cannot charge the battery pack by itself.
If you use the data communications adapter SH2001, you can perform data communications
while charging.
Do not forcefully pull the rubber covers of the earphone/microphone socket or the external
connector terminal. This may cause damage.
You can change or disable the charge start sound volume and charge end sound volume
(
n
P.99).
Do not charge in Viewer position. The display may be scratched.
If the battery is empty when beginning charging, Picture light/Charge LED may not illuminate
immediately. However, charging will have begun.
