When the indoor heat exchanger thermistor becomes disconnected or shorted while the indoor
unit is running.

Supposed

Defective thermistor

Defective indoor unit PCB

Disconnection of connector

Troubleshooting

Refer to “Thermistor Resistance / Temperature Characteristics” table 2 on page 427.

Connect it correctly.

Replace the thermistor
(R3T).

Replace indoor unit
PCB.

YES

(R13005)

Disconnect the thermistor
(R3T) from X17A on the
indoor unit PCB and measure
the resistance.

Is the

thermistor normal?

Is it normal?

Check the connection of
connector

Caution

Be sure to turn off the power switch before connecting or disconnecting
connectors, or parts may be damaged.
