8.19 - Emptying the appliance on the
central heating side
When not otherwise specified, refer to Figure 73.
1. - Generate a central heating demand;
2. - Set the central heating temperature at the lowest value
possible to cool the water inside the appliance;
3. - Connect a hose to drain valves “A” and “B” and convey
it to a sink drain or similar;
4. - Open drain valves “A” and “B”;
5. - Open the air vent valves of the heating elements
starting from the highest central heating elements;
6. - Once all of the water has been evacuated, close all of
the heating element vent valves and drain valves “A”
and “B”;

it is absolutely forbidden to salvage or reuse the
water evacuated from the central heating circuit for
any purpose as it could be polluted.

1. - Close the main cold water supply valve in the house;
2. - Open all hot and cold water taps in the house;
3. - Make sure that at least one of these is at a height below
the level of the appliance;

1. - Make sure that any valve and thermostatic valves after
the central heating circuit are open;
2. - Access the “installer” profile (section 7.16);

WARNING!!! When forcing the supply
temperature, it automatically goes to 93°C to dispose
of as much of the heat generated by the appliance
as possible. Check that the central heating system
can support this temperature. If during forcing, the
power supplied by the appliance is much higher than
the power absorbed by the system, the appliance
switches off continuously to reach the maximum
temperature allowed (93°C). To overcome this
problem, it is necessary to set the heating power,
to the actual need of the system, as dictated in the
chapter 6.8.
