The appliance water pressure drops is given in the graph
below.
The modulation range (particularly “x”) can be checked using
the graph, where "H" is water pressure drops and "Q" water
flow.

4.3 - Domestic hot water pressure
drops curve
Each appliance exerts resistance to the passage of domestic
hot water (see graph where "ΔP" is pressure drops and "Q"
the water flow). The installer or project technician must take
this into consideration in order to guarantee the correct
domestic hot water flow rate.
