6.2.3.2 (CONFIG:) REMOTE (Remote Control) Submenu
Remote Control: Local
SERIAL ETHERNET
Use the [  ][  ] arrow keys to select Local , SERIAL , or ETHERNET . Press [ENT] .
6.2.3.2.1 (REMOTE:) Local
1) When you select Local mode, remote monitoring is possible, but
remote control is disabled .
2) A number of operations are possible in Local mode only. If you are
in Serial or Ethernet mode during such tasks, the unit alerts you to
this remote state:
Remote Mode: press ENT
for local mode, or CLR
Press
[ENT]
to switch to Local Mode to continue with your task, or
press
[CLR]
to exit the task and remain in the active mode.
6.2.3.2.2 (REMOTE:) SERIAL
Serial Mode = RS-232
Addr=001 Baud=9600 8-N-1
On the top line, use the [

][

] arrow keys to set the mode to RS-232 or RS-485 .
On the bottom line, set the Serial address ( Addr ). Use the [

][

] arrow keys to
select a digit, and then the [

][

] arrow keys to change its value. The valid
range of addresses is from 001 (default) to 255 .
Next, set the Baud rate. Use the [

][

] arrow keys to select the parameter, and
then the [

][

] arrow keys to select the desired baud rate of 1200 , 2400 , 4800 ,
9600 (default), 19K2 , and 38K4 .
