REAR FENDER
Read WARNING and CAUTION on page 4-1.
REAR FENDER REMOVAL
1. Remove two nylon locknuts (5) and flat washers (4) from front of fender. Remove two bolts (3) from
front of fender (1) (Figure 4-4, Page 4-11).
2. Remove two nylon locknuts (7) and flat washers (8) from top of fender (1). Remove two bolts (9) and
flat washer (8) from underneath fender.
3. Remove the two nylon locknuts (27), washers (26) and bolts (25).
4. Remove fender (1) and fender guard (28) from the vehicle.
REAR FENDER INSTALLATION
1. Reverse removal procedure to install rear fender. Tighten bolts securing the fender and fender guard to
the vehicle to 35 in-lb (4.0 N·m).
NOTE: The rear fender with the warning decal should be installed on the passenger side of the vehicle. The
decal should be plainly visible when the cargo bed is raised.
TAILSKIRT
Read WARNING and CAUTION on page 4-1.
TAILSKIRT REMOVAL
1. Remove two thread-forming screws (12) from tailskirt (13) and lift tailskirt from vehicle frame (Figure 4-
4, Page 4-11).
TAILSKIRT INSTALLATION
1. Insert upper edge of tailskirt (13) under, and in front of, back edge of rear body (Figure 4-4, Page 4-
11).
2. Align holes in tailskirt (13) with holes in vehicle frame. Position tailskirt flush against frame (Figure 4-4,
Page 4-11).
3. Install two thread-forming screws (12) in tailskirt and tighten to 55 in-lb (6.2 N·m) (Figure 4-4, Page 4-11).
RECEIVER HITCH
Read WARNING and CAUTION on page 4-1.
RECEIVER HITCH REMOVAL
1. Remove the tailskirt. See Tailskirt Removal on page 4-10.
2. Where the hitch (14) is mounted to frame, remove two nuts (15), lock washers (16) washers (17) and
bolt (18).
3. Where the hitch (14) is mounted to hitch brace (20), remove the nut (24), lock washer (23), washer (22)
and bolt (21).
4. Remove hitch (14) from vehicle.
