Testing the Cable (6)
It is difficult to test the Cable (6) using the resistance measurement as it is connected directly to the
AC/DC power block. It is recommended to replace the cable if the test fails, as indicated in
Figure 55 .
Troubleshooting the BTS data cable (green)
Figure 56 and Figure 57 show simple steps to diagnose any part of the data cable and surge suppressors
that may be faulty. The first stage is done at the site and the second stage requires a tower climb.

The cable numbering (for example, cable 1) and color (for example, Green) in Figure 56 and
Figure 57 are used with reference to Figure 51 (for better understanding).
