To install PoE firmware on an FSX platform, use the

inline power install-firmware

command as

shown in the example.

Syntax:

inline power install-firmware

module

slot

tftp ip-address

filename

Stack-unit

(FCX and ICX platforms) refers to the unit-id of the switch. If the switch is not a part of

the stack, the unit number will be the default value. The default value for stack-unit is 1.

Slot

(FSX platform) refers to the slot of the PoE module.

ip-address

refers to the IP address of the TFTP server.

Filename

refers to the name of the file, including the pathname.

ip-address

refers to the IP address of the tftp server.

Filename

refers to the name of the file, including the pathname.

To install firmware on a stack, you need to install firmware on one switch at a time with the

inline

power install-firmware stack-unit

command.
