“set squat” Command
(a)
This command sets the active state (low or high) for the squat switch of the aircraft
or to indicate there is no active squat switch. The squat switch (or other air/ground
determination discrete) is an automatic means to indicate when the aircraft is on the
ground or in the air. This must be set for all KGX products. Refer to Figure 3033.

“set threshold” Command
(a)
This command sets the groundspeed threshold which is used to determine when the
aircraft is on the ground if an automatic means (squat switch) is not configured for
the Light Aircraft (1) Emitter Category only. A groundspeed of less than the threshold
indicates the aircraft is on the ground. Refer to Figure 3034.
