2. Secure the scanner to the floor stand using the supplied Allen wrench. Screw down the
scanner body with four DIN 912 M5x10 screws and washers (2 on each side) to the 4 screw
holes located directly beside the cut-outs for the rubber feet (Figure 1.14)

3. After fastening the scanner to the floor stand, insert the media output tray from the back by
sliding the tray forward and resting it on the support rod. Then affix the rounded edges of the
media output tray (not the edges that are at a right angle to the tray itself) by using the
hooks on the rear side of the scanner (see Figure 1.15)

Caution
Before using the scanner in a new environment allow at least one hour for
temperature adaptation. A fast change from cold to warm environmental conditions
can build up condensation inside the housing. This will result in unfavorable scanned
images and could cause permanent damages to the unit.
