On tractors “BELARUS-80.1/82.1/820” signal for engine speed calculation is a al-

ternator phase winding (terminal “W”). Rotation range indication is from 0 to 3500 (min

-1

c) 3 (figure 2.26.1) – PTO speed indicator displays on light indicator power take-off

shaft speed.

PTO speed indicator operates from frequency signal received by recalculation from

the signal of alternator phase winding with the help of entered factor “KV2” value (see be-

low) other than “0”, in this case factor ZV value equal to “0” shall be entered (see below).

With MIU turned on (see below description of device operation check) and engine

started (signal transmission from alternator phase winding) scales symbols “540” and

“1000” light up simultaneously.

Indication of PTO scale section (taking into account entered factor “KV2” value) takes

place when calculated PTO speed reaches 750 min

-1

Indication of lower PTO scale section (taking into account factor “KV2”) takes place

when engine speed reaches 1400-1500 (min

-1

) and higher.

Depending on the PTO operation speed mode on (540 or 1000) illuminated scale

sections define PTO speed values in accordance with indicated table 2.26.1.

Liquid crystal display mode 10 MI (2.26.1) (see below description of MI operation)

“Revolutions of PTO” is inactive in this mode.

1 – digital symbol of gearbox switch position (digits from 0 to 6) or literal symbol of gear reduc-

ing unit switch position (letters L, M, H, N);

2 – current numerical value of one of tractor system parameters.

In information field “1” (figure 2.26.2) letter “A” is displayed, because transmission con-

trol modules are not available.

In information field “2” (figure 2.26.2) the following parameters are displayed:

- total astronomical engine operating time;

- engine operating time for the chosen period;

- diagnostic of speed sensors operation performance;

Switching between indication modes “Total astronomical engine operating time”, “En-

gine operating time for the chosen period”, failure reports is carried out by button “Mode” of

control console 7 (figure 2.24.1). Operation algorithm description of “Diagnostic of speed sen-

sors operation performance” is given below.
