Figure 6.4.2 – Check of coolant level in the engine cooling system
WARNING: ENGINE COOLING SYSTEM WORKS UNDER PRESSURE WHICH IS
MAINTAINED BY A VALVE IN RADIATOR PLUG. IT IS DANGEROUS TO REMOVE THE
PLUG WHEN THE ENGINE IS HOT. LET THE ENGINE COOL DOWN, COVER THE PLUG
WITH THICK CLOTH AND TURN IT SLOWLY TO REDUCE PRESSURE IN A SMOOTH
MANNER BEFORE REMOVING THE PLUG COMPLETELY. AVOID BURNS BY HOT FLUID!
6.4.1.4 Operation 3. Check of oil level in the combined HLL and HSC tank
Note – The operation shall be performed on tractors with universal cabin (canopy frame
or a canopy base based on universal cabin).
On tractors with HSC, tank 3 (Figure 6.4.3) is a combined tank for HLL and HSC, and
on tractors with HPS, tank 3 is only the tank for HLL.
Before checking oil level, put tractor on a flat horizontal platform. Lift the RLL links to
their top position, stop the engine and brake the tractor with the parking brake.
Check oil level visually by means of oil level indicator 1 (Figure 6.4.3) on tank 3 on trac-
tor left side. The level shall be between marks “O” (O) and “П” (P) of the indicator. If required,
remove threaded plug 2 and top up oil to the level of mark “П” through oil filler opening.
