Current Measurement Full Scale Calibration

a) Set programmed load current to 90 % of full load

b) Adjust R62 until output current measurement on front panel equal shunt output current

reading.

Peak Current Measurement Full Scale Calibration

a) Set programmed output current to full load

b) Adjust R64 until unit peak current measurement on front panel equals output current reading.

7.3 Non-Routine

Calibration

7.3.1

Current Limit Calibration

This calibration procedure sets the current limit trip point at the right current level. To perform a
current limit calibration, proceed as follows:

Offset Calibration

a) Apply load and set voltage to full scale, current limit to 2% of range

b) Adjust R107 until DVM output current reading matches the set current level as closely as

possible.

Full Scale Calibration

a) Set programmed output current to full scale

b) Adjust R63 until the DC supply starts going into current limit.

7.3.2

Analog Input Calibration

This calibration is performed at the factory only and should not be done by the end user unless the
controller mode has been field reconfigured.

To adjust the analog input calibration, use pot R103.

RPV Adjustment

For RPV mode, use a DVM to determine the output voltage while applying a DC input level from a
small, low noise DC reference supply. Apply some load when performing this calibration.

RPC Adjustment

For RPC mode, a load sufficient to draw 90% of available current is required. Full power is not
needed so a lower voltage than full scale can be used to perform the analog current full scale
calibration.
