11.7.7 *SAV
This command stores the present state of the power supply to a specified location in memory. The
XDS Series offers eight non-volatile memory locations for storing instrument setups.
Note
: Writing data to Flash memory as a result of receiving a *SAV command takes approximately
300 msec. No other commands should be sent to the unit during this period as they may be ignored.
Command Syntax
*SAV
Parameters
0 through 7

*RCL *RST
11.7.8 *SRE
This command sets the condition of the Service Request Enable Register. This register determines
which bits from the Status Byte Register (see *STB for its bit configuration) are allowed to set the
Master Status Summary (MSS). A 1 in any Service Request Enable Register bit position enables the
corresponding Status Byte Register bit and all such enabled bits then are logically OR-ed to cause
Bit 6 of the Status Byte Register to be set. See Section 13 for more details concerning this process.
When the controller conducts a STB? command, the MSS bit is not cleared. When *SRE is cleared
(by programming it with 0), the source cannot generate an MSS bit.
