Series

5.2 Changing

Configurations

Factory configured models are pre-configured and calibrated for their indicated mode of
operation. If a unit has to be redeployed for a different application than originally purchased for,
the XDS unit can be reconfigured in the field.

To do so requires removal of the top cover. This voids the warranty seal and Argantix should be
notified to ensure your warranty period remains in effect. Contact

[email protected]

to

obtain authorization to reconfigure a unit.

All configuration changes are made through a series of jumper of the 5005-720-1 Controller
assembly. This assembly is located directly behind the front panel. The jumpers are on the far
side of the controller assembly and can be accessed without removing the controller from the
XDS chassis.

The figure below shows the located on the controller assembly and jumpers when facing the front
of the unit. Note that the top cover has been pushed back about 4 inches.
