To install the DeviceInstaller: 

1.

 

Insert the DeviceInstaller CD into the CD ROM drive. 

The CD should launch automatically. 

If you need to manually launch the CD, click the Start button on the 
Task Bar and select Run. Enter the CD drive letter, for example, 
D:\Launch.exe. The DeviceInstaller Setup Wizard opens to guide 
the installation process. See Figure 6-10.
