6.11 Touch Probe 467
Maximum probing
feed rate Use machine parameter MP_maxTouchFeed to limit the feed rate during
probing. The parameter becomes effective when a touch probe is inserted by
a
TOOL CALL,
or the symbolic PLC operand PP_ChnTchProbeMonitor is set.
Ensure that in the tool table the value Touch Probe is entered in the line for the
touch probe in the TYPE column.
Modul 9420 Delete a line in the tool table
Module 9420 starts the probing motion of an auxiliary axis. The traverse range
is not limited by the software limit switches. The positioning is not interrupted
by the NC Stop (Cycle Stop) key.
The module can be called in the cyclic program part as well as in a subordinate
program part.
Possible errors:

Invalid axis number or feed-rate value given

Given axis is not an auxiliary axis

Given axis is already being positioned

Absolute position is outside the value range if module counting mode is
used
