The right-hand column shows the IN point.
If the current segment is already use, an asterisk (*) will appear before the IN
point to show that it has been changed. To put this change into effect on the
current segment, press

). To create a new segment
altogether, type a value into the numeric keypad, and then press

Insert Seg
) to save the changed segment as a new segment in the list.

change the play speed of the current segment. The valid range of segment play
speeds are from -99.999 up to +99.999 times normal play. The right-hand column
displays the selected play speed and the current video output mode.

When you insert a new segment, the video output mode of the segment is
set to whatever is currently set as the system video output mode. If you
change the system video output mode while pointing to a segment, the
output mode of the current segment will also be changed. To update the
segment and save this change, press F8 (
Modify
).
