User Guide

Auto Edit IN and OUT points for both the recorder and the player
device.

Please note that the

button interacts with the

button. Once

some or all of the criteria are set for an Auto Edit event, if you
desire, you may temporarily turn OFF the Auto Edit function while

preserving the data entered thus far. To do so, the

button is

toggled to turn OFF the LED within the

button. This action

disables the Auto Edit function, and the Attaché control panel
resumes control over only the Attaché DDR system (and not the

VTR). Therefore, had the

button been set to VTR prior to

toggling the

button OFF, the

button reverts to the DDR

setting when the

button is turned OFF.

The

button is used to enable or disable the “Slave” RS422

editor communications port located on the rear of the Attaché main

chassis. When the

button is pressed, the LED either turns ON

or is turned OFF. The ON state indicates the RS422 editor port is
enabled. The OFF state indicates the editor port is disabled. This
button tracks the

parameter in the SETUP EDITOR

menu “Editor: On/Off ”.

The   button is used to enable or disable the video track for
recording purposes.  It’s used for both straight record and Auto
Edit recordings.  The button simply toggles between video record
enable ON (LED on) or video record enable OFF (LED off).
