Posterior Segment features are viewed and measured by accessing the following CIRRUS
HD-OCT analyses. If you are unsure as to which scans need to be acquired in order to
access the appropriate analysis
Macular Thickness Analysis
The CIRRUS Macular Thickness Analysis (MTA) provides interactive scan images as well as
the Fundus image with a scan cube overlay as shown in Figure 8-3. The Fundus image with
scanned cube is shown in the upper right quadrant, with an overlay whose colors
correspond to the color–coded side bar scale on the right. The colors denote Macular
thickness in micrometers (
μ m).
