Empty system
This service routine empties the wet chemical system of the instrument.
Note
If the TresCon is taken out of service for more than 24 hours, the
Empty
system
service routine must be performed!
Duration
approx. 7 minutes
Warning
Only trained personnel is allowed to work on the analyzing section.
Always follow the warning instructions on the chemical containers and
the safety datasheets!
Always use the proper safety equipment!
Caution
The pumps empty the system via the suction tubes. If the containers
with the consumables are not removed, the reagents and standards
become unusable! You cannot quit the procedure.

Pull the sample tubing out of the overflow vessel.

Disconnect the canisters with consumables from the tubes.

Place two suitable collecting containers (recommended
capacity of 0.5l) on the tray of reagents so that all the ends of
the tubes can be stuck into the collecting containers. If
necessary, raise the collecting containers by using suitable
tools (e.g. hydraulic lifts, blocks).

Stick all the ends of the tubes into the collecting containers.
