View/change the Attenuation parameters
You can set the attenuation of the measured value calculation in four
steps in this menu.
How it functions
The measured values are acted upon mathematically by a digital
lowpass filter and the measured value that is output to the central unit
is thus attenuated.
The calculation of the new values is performed at intervals of 20 s. At
intervals of the measurement (5, 10, 15 min., etc. depending on the
setting), a new x value is used for the lowpass filter calculation.
If the analyzer module begins a new measuring cycle (after STOP or
AutoCal), firstly, all the x
n
are set to the newly calculated concentration
values. This prevents the filter from oscillating and the new measured
value is displayed immediately.
The digital attenuation results in an extremely smooth response of any
successive control unit.
You can display or change the current setting in this menu. Each step
corresponds to a fixed rise time (data in parentheses).
