View/change the Dilution parameters
You can select the dilution of the sample in this menu.
How it functions
If the sample is diluted before it flows into the overflow vessel of the
TresCon (e.g. with the aid of a dilution pump), the corresponding
dilution factor can be set. TresCon takes into account the dilution factor
for the calculation of the measured value and displays the actual
concentration value.
Example
The dilution is set to 1+4 (1 part sample diluted with 4 parts H2O).
TresCon measures 1.00 mg/L Pges and multiplies the value by the
factor 5. 5.00 mg/L Pges appears on the display.
Note
The measuring range corresponding to the resolution is given in the
parameter ticket. By using a dilution device before the TresCon, the
dilution error becomes part of the total error.
