FAN CYCLE SWITCH
The fan cycle switch is located behind the
decorative front cover and below the control
box. The switch is designed to operate the fan
either continuously, or intermittently with the
compressor or heating elements. When the
switch is in the CONTINUOUS position, the fan
will run continuously when the unit is turned on.
With the switch in the CYCLE
position, the fan
will run only when the compressor or heating
elements cycle on.
FRESH AIR VENT CONTROL
The fresh air vent control lever is located be-
hind the front cover on the left side of the unit.
The unit is shipped in the Closed position with
a locking screw to prevent it from being moved.
Remove the screw to operate the control. When
the lever is back, the vent is open, and the
outside air is mixed with indoor air. When the
lever is forward, the vent is closed, and no
outside air is admitted into the room. Only room
air is recycled through the unit.
REMOTE THERMOSTAT
Remote thermostat units are controlled with a
remote thermostat that is usually mounted on
a wall. The thermostat will cycle the unit to
maintain the desired room temperature (see
page 3-5).
The fan speed switch controls the high and low
fan speed operation. The switch is located on
the control panel, and is independent of the
thermostat.
