operation may be disabled and the electric circuit may be damaged.
z
Wear protect clothes and glasses when using compressed air to clean the filter mesh.
8.9 Heavy Materials
z
Wear protect clothes, safety glasses and safety helmet and put a copper bar between the hammer
and the part being hit.
z
Eyes may be damaged by flying hard particles, such as pin and bearing when hit by a hammer.
z
Use tools and heavy materials carefully. Prevent them falling down.
8.10 Welding Repair
Electric welding requires a special technique, proper equipment and place. No person is allowed to
weld without a license. Escaped gas and damaged electric wires are potential problems during
welding. Obey the following:
z
Switch off the electricity in the terminals for storage to prevent explosion.
z
For loaders with ZF controlling units, disconnect the wire nipples on the computer control panel,
to protect the computer control panel from being burnt out by the impulse current generated in
welding. After repairing, do connect the wire nipples on the computer control panel according to
requested, or the machine will not work.
z
Clean the paint at the welding site to prevent the production of harmful gas.
z
Avoid welding on the hydraulic equipment or pipe, or places nearby. Flammable steam and
sparks may be generated.
z
Cover the rubber, wire or pressure pipe and use
anti-fire plate during welding because a spark may
cause a sudden crack or shatter the insulating tape.
z
Be careful when welding near tires, which may cause
a thermal explosion.
z
Wear protective clothes during welding.
z
Keep the welding area ventilated.
z
Clean up the flammable materials and check the fire extinguisher.
