Station Day Class of Service (COS)
Programming Steps
1. Press the DAY COS flexible button
(FLASH 50, Page B, Button #2)

The seven classes of service are:
COS 1 = No restrictions
COS 2 = Table A governs
COS 3 = Table B governs
COS 4 = Table A and B govern
COS 5 = Restricts [0], [1], [
6
], [#] dialed as first-digit with a 7-digit
maximum
COS 6 = Intercom Only (no CO line access - results in a 911 block
unless 911 Feature is active)
COS 7 = Restricts [0], [1], [

], [#] dialed as first-digit with a 10-digit
maximum
2. Press HOLD to save the entry. A confirmation tone is heard and the
display updates.
Description
Each station must be assigned a certain COS for Day Mode operation and
for Night Mode operation. Class of Service (COS) determines the station’s
dialing privileges. By default, all stations are assigned a COS 1 for Day
Mode.
