D
Initial Browse Search Limit
Specifies the number of days back that NetBackup searches for files to restore.
The value is in days. For example, to limit the browse range to the seven days
prior to the current date specify 7.
This limit is specified on the master server and applies to all NetBackup
clients. It can also be specified on a client and in this instance applies only to
that client and can reduce the size of the search window from what you specify
on the server (the client setting cannot make the window larger).
By default, NetBackup includes files from the time of the last-full backup
through the latest backup for the client. If the client belongs to more than one
class, then the browse starts with the earliest of the set of last-full backups.
Disallow Client Browse and Restore
Denies list and restore requests for all clients if List Restore on the Client
Attributes tab is set to Not specified. By default, Disallow client browse and
restore is not selected.
Also see “List Restore” on page 487.
Disallow Client Restore
Denies restore requests for all clients if List Restore on the Client Attributes tab
is set to Not specified. By default, Disallow client restore is not selected.
Also see “List Restore” on page 487.
Backup Start Notify Timeout
Specifies the number of seconds that the server waits for the
bpstart_notify
script on a client to complete. The default is 300 seconds.
Note:
If you change this timeout, verify that Client Read Timeout is set to the
same or higher value.
