Adding Directives to the File List
There are two ways to add directives to the file list.
• Type and add them individually in the same way as other entries. This
method is required if a directives template does not exist.
• Select them from a directives template.
Some directives are allowed in class types that are available only when their
associated NetBackup option is installed. For example, adding NetBackup
for EMC makes the Split-Mirror class type and its directives available.
The NetBackup guide for each option explains how to use any special
directives that apply. In addition, some options provide templates that
contain the required directives. If the template is installed, it can be selected
in the add and change files dialog boxes (Figure 8) for the associated class,
thus making it easier to add directives to the file list.
