Using the Composite Change Dialog Boxes
The following topics explain how to interpret and change properties in the
dialog boxes when editing attributes, schedules or clients in the composite
view.
Interpreting the Initial Settings
If the property has a text field where you can specify a value, the check box for
the property is clear and the text field is:
• Gray with a value if the property has the same value for all selected
machines.
• Clear if the property does not have the same value for all selected machines.
If the property has only a check box and not a value, the check box is in one of
the following states:
• Selected (checked) if the attribute is selected for all selected machines.
• Clear if the property is clear on all selected machines.
• Gray check if the property is set differently on the selected machines.

Files
No editing except for sorting and moving.
Clients
Cut, Copy, Change, or Delete
You cannot undo the deletion of multiple clients. Also, if you
paste to another class and there are clients with the same
name, they are replaced with the contents of the clipboard.
You can move items within a list by dragging and dropping. For example, you
could move clientZ from the end of the client list to the beginning.
