[ 4 ] Discard [MENU], [5], [4], [04]
When the received document is longer than the effective recording area length, this function discards
the excess area of the recording. Even when this Discard function is set ON, the function will not be
effective in the following cases.
• When the exceeds area is longer than the specified value, no discarding will occur but the recording
image will be divided into multiple pages.
• When the Discard function is set OFF, the image portion in the exceeding area will be recorded in a
separate page.
1) Use the [

] keys to select the desired option (ON or OFF), then press the [ENTER] key.
ON
Discards the data in the area exceeding length of the recording paper.
OFF
Does not discard such data.
2) When the “COMPLETED” message is displayed, press the [STOP] key to return to the Standby
Mode screen.
[ 5 ] Reverse Order Print [MENU], [5], [4], [05]
This function receives the entire facsimile document into memory and then prints the document in
reverse order. In this way, the pages of the document will be in correct order.
1) Use the [

] keys to select the desired option (ON or OFF), then press the [ENTER] key.
ON
To set the Reverse Order Print function.
OFF
Not to set the Reverse Order Print function.
2) After the “COMPLETED” message is displayed, press the [STOP] key to return to the Standby
Mode screen.
