[ 3 ] Paper End Sensor

The paper end sensor is installed on the LSU frame and detects the presence or absence of recording
paper placed in the recording paper tray or bypass tray. When the actuator of the sensor is pushed
down by the recording paper to turn on the sensor, the placement of recording paper will be detected.
[ 4 ] Paper Position Sensor

The paper position sensor is installed on the transfer unit and detects the transport status of recording
paper. When the actuator of the sensor is pushed down by the recording paper to turn on the sensor,
the transport of the recording paper to the printing position will be detected. Then, the length of the
recording paper is judged by sensing the time from the moment when the recording paper is further
transferred to the moment when the sensor turns off. In case the sensor does not return to the off status
even a fixed time after the sensor is turned on, a recording paper jam will be assumed.
