[ 14 ] Copy Reduction [MENU], [5], [1], [11]
This function allows automatic reduction of the recording image when making copies. The default set-
ting is OFF.
Notes:
• If this function is enabled, documents longer than the effective printable area will be reduced
by 95, 90, 86, 83, 80 or 73% depending on the document length.
• If this function is disabled, documents more than 10 mm longer than the effective printable
area will be split onto two pages. No image will be discarded. The excess portion of a docu-
ment that is less than 10 mm longer than the effective printable area will be discarded.
1) Use the [

] keys to select the desired option (ON or OFF), then press the [ENTER] key.
AUTO
Recording will occur with reduction.
OFF
No reduction will be applied.
2) After the “COMPLETED” message is displayed, press the [STOP] key to return to the Standby Mode
screen.
